No. HitMark analyzes your video entirely on your device. Your footage is never uploaded. Finding the pitches and cutting the clips all happen locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

No. Your videos and clips never reach our servers, so there is nothing on our end for anyone to see.

Only where you send them. A clip leaves your device only when you share it through the share sheet, whether that's saving it to Photos or Files, sending it in Messages, or passing it to another app. Until then, it stays on your device.

HitMark finds pitches by listening to the at-bat, and it isn't perfect. Expect some missed pitches and occasional false positives, especially in noisy, distant, or unusual footage. We keep improving detection.

Film the at-bat from a steady, fairly close spot with the batter and home plate in view, and leave the audio on. HitMark listens for the pop of the glove and the crack of the bat. Clear, well-framed footage works best.

Yes. You can review every clip and trim it before you share it, so you decide what you keep, even when HitMark gets one wrong.

HitMark is free to download, and all core features are free, including importing an at-bat, finding and reviewing pitches, trimming, slow motion, mute, and sharing clips. HitMark Pro is an optional $0.99-per-month subscription that adds a few extra tools.

Pro adds in-app capture (record inside HitMark, automatically set to the recommended resolution and frame rate), instant swing replay (the screen plays 3, 5, or 10 seconds behind live, handy for cage sessions), and highlight reels (combine your best pitches into one shareable reel instead of sending clips one by one).

No. Everything from the original version stays free. Pro is for players who also want to film and study their swing in the app and build reels.

HitMark Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed through your Apple Account. You can cancel anytime in your device Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions; Pro stays active through the end of the current period. If you reinstall or switch devices, use "Restore Purchases" on the Pro screen.

Yes. Apple's App Store handles purchases. We don't run servers and never see your payment details. HitMark only asks Apple whether your Pro subscription is active. Your videos still stay on your device and are never uploaded.
